    We played Sunday and Wednesday.

It showed in the second half.
3 games in 7 days and an early kickoff added in.

Nice break with the league cup in mid week and a chance for the rest to get some minutes.

5 out of 5 so hard to complain but **** a duck we make life hard for ourselves. Why did we drop off so much after the second. We keep doing it. Bizarre.

Origi with a magnificent 3rd, amazing pass from lovren.
Mane with the 4th on the break.
          Wijnaldum with the 5th.
          5-2... angry birds
The official FB page posted the goals yesterday. Those Origi goals were absolutely world class.
          Football without Origi is nothing

100% winning record, which is brilliant. I'm sure Slott will see the challenges and will continue to make adjustments and improve the team.

Looked brilliant early on and ripped them up then dropped off and lost the intensity and pace they played with to start. The attack looks slick.

In saying all that for all the possession and territory they had I don’t think they really threatened apart from the goal. Felt very comfortable and they only real had Grealish doing anything in attack.

And we still look more likely to score and created other chances to add to the two goals.

You can see bits and pieces of this team getting better. The attack looks very good the defence is looking much more solid they just need to keep control and stop these sloppy lapses that are happening. I know you won’t control the whole match obviously.
Indeed, we faded 2nd half. Come to think of it, so did I Much like me, we do need to get better at managing the game when we are taking a breather.

The ability to see games out is something we need to learn how to do better, that and putting games to bed. Both things I don't think we have done enough in the Slot era, there have been alot of tight games, some of which we should probably have won more comfortably
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

But we did see the game out. I thought the quick turnaround from CL made us look jaded, especially second half. That and Everton are way better than they have been for years.

We won 68% of our matches last season. We didn't achieve that without a good share of either seeing games out or putting them to bed.

Everton are incredibly stupid. You're told to wait to take a free kick, you don't wait and take it anyway and get told to take it again. Then 20 mins later your are again told to wait to take a free kick and again you don't wait, then you get booked for it. Then after the game you go on national TV and act totally bemused about how a booking was given for "taking a quick free kick" and how you've "never seen it before". Nobody has seen it before because nobody has ever been stupid enough to do it two times in a half of football.

You can see he’s enjoying being the big fish in a tiny pond again.

Oh & trying to endear himself to his fans by getting stuck into the Ref & getting a yellow card AFTER the match.

He’ll be doing that another four times between now and Christmas.

I couldn’t work out what he & Moysey were whining about. Did they want more added time?

Completely understandable that we faded in the second half. We'd played 3 games in 6 days and they had a week off. Thought we defended pretty well though.
