93:39. And he blew it when we were on a break with 3 of our players all in the clear to run at goal. Moyes should be thanking he blew it not whining. But if you make a show of it then it makes convinces the fans they lost unfairly, not because they're ****.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A quick look at the Grand Old Team tells you they have fallen for that narrative hook, line and sinker.Originally posted by vlahka View Post93:39. What really pisses me off about football is no one can accept that their team lost fairly, there's always an agenda bias towards the other team or whatever. It feels like Arsenal fans started it but with us if we win someone should have been sent off, we got a dodgy penalty, if we score a late goal the officials were playing until we won. It must be exhausting to keep up this narrativeOriginally posted by vlahka View Post93:39. And he blew it when we were on a break with 3 of our players all in the clear to run at goal. When the team was fresh at the start we blew them away, I thought that we looked more balanced than we’ve done all season. It might just be a coincidence that it coincided with “last season’s” midfield starting, maybe not. It’s not surprising to think guys who’ve played together in a 3 man midfield for a season would have that familiarityOriginally posted by BG1973 View PostIt was until we went two up. And then that efficient midfield couldn't keep the ball anymore for whatever reason.
It wasn't a game of two halves, it was a game of two goals and had little to do with individuals.

Yep it’s pathetic and exhausting.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostWhat really pisses me off about football is no one can accept that their team lost fairly, there's always an agenda bias towards the other team or whatever. ‘Covid title’ ‘PGMOL title’ ‘LiVARpool’.
We’re genuinely one of the most harshly officiated teams in the league and we’ve got the receipts to prove it.
When something like ‘Good process, lads’ happens, we get told to accept it. Then when a justifiably short amount an added time is applied to a game we win, the same people cry about conspiracies and how we get everything in our favour.
Demented..

He was caught on the ball a few times which was frustrating.
I think this will take longer than I thought tbh, I thought he’d hit the ground running. Might be a Fabinho and Robbo type integration period needed as opposed to Salah
The talent is there, we know that but he needs to get to grips with the pace and physicality of the league

Watching what Gravenberch has turned into after his first season shows what patients with young players can result in.
While Wirtz came for more money and a higher profile patients is still needed. Not just for him but the team as a whole. And as others have mentioned some players get going right away like Mo others take time like Fabinho and Robertson. It doesn’t matter if you’ve played in this league before or not.
Considering it’s 5 wins from 5 while being the top scorers in the league and it’s still a work in progress I can’t wait to see what it ends up like.

I’m patient with him and I think he’ll be superb in time but I’m a bit disappointed so far, I expected more, what can I say. Perhaps the YouTube comps have screwed our perception and we expect brilliance from the off.Originally posted by peterbread View PostWatching what Gravenberch has turned into after his first season shows what patients with young players can result in.

But, we’re 5 from 5, clear at the top and our two record signings yet to be integrated. Times are good

Took a **** in your old neck of the woods during the week. That is all.
