I thought that too, until I saw him in the WC. First time he's really impressed me and I thought he might be vaguely worth the money that's bandied about....one I'd leave to Rafa's judgement though

I think you vastly under rate him. He gives the team a lot.

He can hold up the ball thats it for me. IMO i think he has absolutely no pace, his headers are very weak, hes poor in the air.

I think we can get a better player that will an all round better job for us IMO of course

Pace is an over rated attribute and because of his hieght he will always cause massive amounts of problems for defenders, he is not poor in the air either, he is just not the best at finishing with his head because he lacks power. His touch and finishing are both good and he works very well with Gerrard.

He also only lacks power in headers when he has to jump for them at head height he is very dangerous.

I think that of course he can do a job but out of Bellemy Kuyt id have them start all the time. The Crotch is a good player but i just dont think he's good enough to play for Liverpool and we need another world class striker if we were to make a proper challenege for the title.

I don't think Crouch need replacing in that context. Partner for him maybe, but he does not need to be replaced.

He's a good player but for me i think we can do alot better with the moneyt we spent on him

Torres may well be overrated, but he's still a very talented player. He'd be a fantastic addition at the right price, £10-12m. Not much chance of getting him for that though, sadly.
