There is a lot that can go wrong at this stage depending on what is revealed by the investigations and could result in further negotiations. Besides, due diligence can be lengthy process so I wouldn't see this as a done deal yet
Not this old chestnut again! Morgan didn't make a bid. He proposed a rights issue so that current shareholders could buy new shares on a pro rata basis and he would mop up any of the shares not taken up by current holders. Therefore Moores would have to fork out for 51% of those shares at much, much greater cost than Morgan would for his much smaller quota. There would inevitably be some very small shareholders unable to take up their allocation, so Morgan would pick them up for a song and, at a stroke, Moores would lose his 51% majority holding. Therefore Moores would be in exactly the same position as a turkey voting for Christmas.

So Morgan was very evidently never a realisitic player in this saga.

They just break the rules and pay off people constantly
Then theres the public slamming off referees everytime without fail they lose a football match from the manager down to their cuntish players
Then theres the conduct of their manager and other ***** he has beside him like that Rui Feria etc

On signings, I dont think people are that bothered about paying £30m for Shevchenko, its the signing Veron for £15m then freeing him or loaning him out for years till his deal expires, same with Crespo now that pisses people off. Well thats what pisses me off anyway. I have no problem with their spending as it doesnt make games against the other 18 Premiership teams any harder.

I think they will make some return off the pitch indirectly. Tourism is now a huge part of their economy so this will probably be a high profile PR exercise which will (hopefully) be good for us and them.

I always thought Zico was alright , but like a lot of others at kt I found out that a lot of the info posted as "inside information" was actually available on the net if you look hard enough, usually on some of the city financial and investment sites/forums.

Back on the old KT investment forums (before they got deleted) the 'Mystery Dubai " based investor was correctly id' by yours truly simply by the powers of google some 5 months ago.

Jesus man, I wasn't even remotely suggesting that we buy that pile of crap but I was suggesting we do to him exactly what they have been doing to Stevie minus any end result.

My mistake. I thought he made a bid, which he revised after studying the books.

I have to say though, your knowledge of this saga is disturbing to say the least.

And if we don't get them sack the board :whatever:
Sod that... I'd get them to invest in a time machine and re-sign Dalglish, Rush, Fowler (in his prime), the semi-skimmed Barnes (not the full fat one), Souness, little Ray, Phile "Yes Boss" Neal, and a couple of those lovelyu rocks we had as defenders. Apologies if I didn't mention anyone of note, it's been a long day at work today.

Oh... I'd also have them pay David James to change his "C*nt on a set of Shoulders" hairdo.

I'm excited about this, but I think I will reserve judgement until we hear from the (hopefully) new owners.

Chelsea are not really a football club anymore, they are simply one man's plaything who's entire future depends on whether or not he gets bored with his toy or not. It really wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea weren't even in the top flight in 10 years time.

The thought of that happening to Liverpool is a nightmare, but from what I have seen of this group they are a business, hopefully all investment will be with a view to grow the club both on and off the pitch.
