So let me get this straight. If a war breaks out between Manchester and London, we have a chanceOriginally posted by CAD View PostIn 1991 Denmark failed to qualify for the European Championship. Yugoslavia beat us to it. Then the war broke out and Yugoslavia couldn't attend and we got their place and won the whole thing. So there is a chance. But unless we are talking force majeur you can forget about it. Maybe if it was just one team we had to catch. We know that Chelsea doesn't throw more than 5/6 matches over the entire season ffs.
There is a fine line between being stupid and being optimistic...

He`s great fun to go for a pint with, me and jamo go out regular. Whenever theres a lull in conversation you just punch him in the face, hey presto, everyones laughing again!Originally posted by Redspin View PostUnless there's someone else with your username I saw comments from you on another forum yesterday spreading your usual negative "we have no chance" message. Or maybe a plane crash.Originally posted by Jack D Rips View PostSo let me get this straight. If a war breaks out between Manchester and London, we have a chance
There is no chance that we can catch two teams. Maybe , and that's a big maybe, if it was only one. Two is impossible!

agreed, only 13 points between us and the mancs, although we could have really done with the Blue****e winning yesterday. If we beat chavs and Manure, and manure drop points to the Chavs and Arsenal then who knows? Never rule out a comeback. It wont be easy, but we never do things the easy way do we!Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostAfter the 3rd March.
If we have any chance of winning it this season then we will of have to have beaten Chelsea and Manure at home. By the 3rd March we will know.

Until we manage to beat some of the "big" teams, then we wont have a chance of the title; our only hope it for both Chelsea and United to suffer from a 4/5 game slump. Something which Chelsea haven't suffered with for over 2 years.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Looking at the fixtures it seems to me that Bolton and Portsmouth are going to have a lot to say about who wins this year.Originally posted by Parm View Postagreed, only 13 points between us and the mancs, although we could have really done with the Blue****e winning yesterday. For us it's simple we MUST win against the Manure, Chavs & Arsenal and then hope pompey and bolton do us a favor.
Manure haven't had an injuries yet, so hopefully that will account for a few points. And for some reason Mourinho insists on playing other than his best lineup until the 2nd half of games. Long may it continue and let's hope it bites him in the ass.
Let's take a status check after crimbo, and hope that Villa have a very strong month. The Crushing Machine MKII

That's a key period, if we win 4 out of 4 over Christmas, the other two might drop a few points and things would then look fairly interesting.Originally posted by rodo View Postthe 3 games over xmas will say a lot about us blackburn, spurs and bolton are 3 games we could win but just as easily come away with 1 or 2 points from when to be in with any chance we need 9 points
But it's a tall order, Blackburn and Spurs away are not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Agree. I can see our CMs being pretty knackered after those games. Can't see one where you could use Guthrie to give Xabi/SG a rest.Originally posted by rodo View Postthe 3 games over xmas will say a lot about us blackburn, spurs and bolton are 3 games we could win but just as easily come away with 1 or 2 points from when to be in with any chance we need 9 pointsThe Crushing Machine MKII
