Lucas is the only DM we've got & he has been very good since coming back into the side. First name of the team sheet at the moment IMO.

I think this formation is partially engineered to get more out of Gerrard, less defensive responsibility and pacey forwards ahead for him to hit. Sadly for Lucas I think when we have a fully fit squad he once again misses out as Gerrard will sit with Allen or Henderson just ahead.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Won't be first name on the sheet after Jan if he's off to Inter.

        Gonna need a viable replacement.

we need at least one, if not two ready to go first team players.

no more fannying about with potential.
im more concerned with how we are doing now, not worried about signing some amazing 12 year old.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think when we have a fully fit squad he should still start - it will be Allen that makes way instead of Gerrard imo.

As already said, until we get a better DM, he has to start.

I think even some of his harshest critics are warming to the guy - you've got to admire his heart. He's clearly not quite the player he was pre-knee injuries but he's giving his all and doing a really good job in difficult circumstances after most of us had written him off. I love his attitude and think he's a top bloke. He's great to have around and I hope he stays even if we go and buy a new first choice DM.

I've no idea really. He has a cheeky smile but I don't follow him on Twitter etc so know very little about him.

He seems dead sound and down to earth.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'll tell you something, he's absolutely ****ing fearless and extremely brave and it's hard to find players like that these days.

Never shirks a tackle, yes he gives away some fouls from time to time but he very rarely attacks with malice and he's strong and fair in the challenge.

I remember watching us at Anfield one day and he was just starting out for us, he was awful and the crowd was on top of him massively, can't get over how much he has matured since those days - long time ago I know. I'd even say he's the most mature player in our team, even more so than Gerrard.
