Lucas deserves a bit of luck on the injury front. Should be our captain IMO.

I don't like kicking a bloke when he's down but some of Rodgers decision-making was just plain wrong. Lucas still has a whole lot to give to this club.

Complete turn around, bossing it. Where would be if he had left in the Summer? Up **** creek to a degree I reckon.

hes been excellent since klopp arrived and it looks like kloppo trusts him to convey his messages across to the rest of the team during games.

Jack Lusby @ This Is Anfield seems to agree with you:Originally posted by Alex View PostAnyone else think Lucas is playing a bit higher up the pitch under Klopp? Seems he is more involved in our attacking side (Stopping it from being turned over easier)

I noticed coutinho being dispossesed quite easily a couple of times and the oppo players had a clean run through.
Its ok playing lu as a bit further forward but in the eventuality that someone is tackled in midfield then lucas needs to ensure he is 5-10 yards behind the others so be has a chance to intercept and keep things going.
I think it was the west ham game were be looked lime he was playing too far forward and we had no cover at all.

Lucas is being used as a dynamic midfielder under Klopp. This will become more evident when the other players get up to speed with The Kloppsta's way of playing football.Originally posted by Alex View PostAnyone else think Lucas is playing a bit higher up the pitch under Klopp? He is and that's the whole point of Klopps game, stop the ball/turn over the ball higher up the pitch and turn defence into attack in their half of the pitch so giving them less time and space to get organised again.
