Thanjk you.

So what if he likes the Killers, email him and tell him his taste isn't up to your high standard. I'm sure he'd appreciate being put right on the matter. Perhaps you could tell him who he should like so he doesn't make the same mistake again
Houllier switched him between every position across the back 4. He used him more as a utility player, it was Benitez who established him as an outright CB.
Not sure that's a fair characterisation. Houllier may have changed his position numerous times, but he wasn't constantly switched as some sort of utility player. When he switched to a new position it was always made to be his. He may not have played CB for a long time under Ged, but he had done seriously well there and it was expected that was the role he'd continue under.
737 appearances is phenomenal considering the serious injuries he's had coupled with only being cemented as a CB relatively recently
Phenomenal
He was always a regular in the team though; he was first choice centre back for a couple of years before we signed Henchoz and Hyypia, at which point he was first choice LB, then first choice RB then first choice CB again.
He has only had one season since 1997-98 where he has played less than 30 games and that was the season he broke his leg (and he played 29 games that year)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
To honour him I am wearing my Team of carraghers t-shirt and plan to go outside a bit later and hoof a few footballs over the fence into next door's garden.
