I think Carra was talking about jobs at a high level. Those that have been enumerated all manage mid table or lower clubs.
    Are we winning?

Martinez made him look more tactically naive and outdated than Hodgson so probably better he doesn't want to get into management tbh.

His examples aren't the best, 3 men whose pinnacle was the England job, they didn't achieve anything of note at club level nor were they ever at top level clubs. Mclaren still has a job( and a league title to be fair to him), O'Leary is tainted by all the cash they blew, Rioch is much like Moyes, promoted above his abilities and neither have achieved anything of note in the game so it's no wonder they won't get near a top job again.

I thought David O'Leary was a top manager. What he did with Leeds was incredible. The wheels came off when Risdale started throwing cash at him to spend.

I remember they gambled on resting players prior to a Real Madrid game by resting players in the league. Cost them a CL place that season. Had they made it they would have kept the wolves at the door.

Don't actually think Martinez has done any better than Moyes.

He got 72 points season before last - better than Moyes ever managed by 7 points. I'd say his team is better to watch too.

If you're not gonna win anything you may as well be better to watch I guess!

I don't know about Moyes & Martinez, they both just seem similar in terms of what their teams can achieve.

All Carra needs to do is look at another great Liverpool defender, Alan Hansen when he retired from football.

He chose not to go down the managerial road and went into punditry and what a great living he'd made out of it.

He got paid a fortune to appear on telly and talk bollocks with style.

                        The lad done well.
