Also, how can you be so sure of Ibe? He has yet to make a first team start. The same issues you have with Sterling surely must be there for him.
I'm not sure on Ibe - he could be the next Paul Anderson for all we know. I'm just saying that at the level he is playing, he is showing more to his game than Sterling did when he was playing at that level. Plus Ibe has a good physique and is quite powerful.

      beef

raheem also seems to have ongoing personal issues. if he doesnt get his mind right and become more 'steady' then he could become too hot to handle. he always seemed destined to return to london.

Yes, that's the other thing. His off the field antics will probably end up hindering his career. The early indication to me is that he will become more like Pennant than Aaron Lennon

So he will play for us in a CL final then?

Hopefully not. Either way, Aaron Lennon is useless on the pitch.

Very harsh. IMO, he is very good player. Quick, strong, skillful and has a good delivery on him.

More of a harami I think - fair point though

Nooooooooo Mr G! It has dramatically improved. It was awaful a few years ago but it is much better now. He gets a lot of assists too.

Useless may be a bit of an overstatement admittedly.

He's good enough, but I don't rate him highly. Only has pace and is often clueless when in good positions when I have seen him.

I still think his decision makeing is not the best and doesn't beat the first man as much as he should. I dont actually think he is a bad player but I would say he is more at Drownings level just another average English premier league winger

There was a video on the LFC site this afternoon saying why he quit Twitter... anyone know what he said?

                                Ah, here we go:

Raheem Sterling has revealed why he has quit the social networking sites Twitter and Facebook.

The 18-year-old had a substantial following on Twitter but decided to delete his @sterling31 account earlier this year.

He told Liverpoolfc.com: "I've deleted my Twitter and Facebook, and come off BBM.

"I just need to get my head down, really, and concentrate on my football, start scoring goals, stuff like that.

"I'm going to be more and more professional.

"I won't be back on there. Me and Twitter are finished!"
Sounds to me like someone has had a word with him.
