On a side note, my phone auto corrects his name to Rajeev Steering. **** knows why.
I really disliked Neville when he played but don't mind him at all as a pundit - his analysis is usually well thought out and goes beyond the usual lazy punditry cliches. He also doesn't seem to harbor any ill feeling towards LFC which is something I was a little surprised at given the stick he got from us over the years .

Are you sure Insua didn't over-expose Insua? Though, I do see your point. I think there are exceptions. Sterling, Suso and maybe Robinson are those for me.

It's hard to believe now but I have dim memories that Gray and Keyes might have seemed quite refreshing and interesting in the early days, until once-new phrases curdled into poisonous clichés and the continual hammering of once-original thoughts crushed the soul.

I agree about Neville but it's a lot easier to have fresh ideas when you're new to the job. Let's see if he manages to maintain the level of insight and interest when the novelty has worn off in another season or two. Strangely enough I hope he does and think he may.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Sterling is clearly an exception and I personally would be very careful about how the youngsters are introduced to the first team.

That said, I do think Suso is ready and should be given some playing opportunities.

if we don't do that I am not so sure he'll re-sign as his contract is up this summer if I am not mistaken.
            Agree.

I think if Insua hadn't have been chucked into a struggling side and forced to play almost every game - especially at his age - then he'd still be here now. Ten or twenty games in all comps would've been the best way to ease him in.

Agree with Mostar that I think Suso is ready. Not for an entire season but we need to show faith in him and give him games to convince him to sign on again for us next season. It'd be a bit of a balls-up to lose him now.
