Yep.....decent game from the lad today. Took the wrong option a couple times in the first half, but that's excusable for a young fella. Drifted a bit out of the game in the second half, although that was very much in line with the team performance to be fair to him.
Good movement, offered an outlet, scored a goal......not bad at all.

That being said, its time for Downing to come back into the side............getting a bit tired of seeing a 17 year old driving at opposition defenders and forcing them back on their heels, creating panic when he has the ball at his feet, using his pace intelligently and forging good attacking links with Suarez etc...., when we have a 20m international waiting in the wings.
