Sterlings work ethic has been most surprising to me. I expected him to be a bit lazy, not tracking back and helping out but he actually gets quite a lot of tackles in and he is pretty effective.

For sure. Potential talent rarely blossoms into full blown talent. That's my excuse why I never made it anyway!

He ignored Lallana and the two overlooked players and just talked about Sterling, showing loads of his "best bits" and highlighting his qualities. Completely convinced he's the real deal, he is.
