his all round game is good until he gets near the penalty area then it doesnt match the rest of his approach work which is nevertheless excellent.
he needs a touch more composure on the ball in the final third and hopefully it will come with age.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

His decision making in the final third, his crossing and shooting needs to improve.
That said, he is doing very well atm and I cannot imagine starting lineup without him in it.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Agree completely. I think the fact that we're doing well without Sterling contributing that much to goals/ assists is giving him time. If we were struggling mid table with him not contributing goal wise I'm sure he'd be getting slaughtered on here. He's getting the time required to improve as we're doing ok.Originally posted by Mostar View Post

He made a great run at the West Brom defence and pulled the trigger one touch too early, one more touch and he'd have been on the outside of the defender and his shot would have hit the far left side (from his view) of the goal.
Just little things like that and he'll be contributing goals.
I ****ing love his runs from outside the left back into the area, effectively taking the full back out of play! He's done this a few times now and it's paying dividends! Was muß, das muß.

Sorry but . I know everyones entitled to their opinion but there is nothing deceptive about Sterling in terms of strength. He has none. It's painful watching him frequently get pushed off the ball with minimum effort. It's his biggest weakness (he is obviously young) and IMO if doesn't get stronger, he will never make it
