the 1st assist was a simple pass so its a bollocks assist, the 2nd was a proper assist as he made the goal, although he did get lucky with the bounce back off that defender, but that was pretty good. That hooked shot Shaggy mentioned earlier was also pretty good but it was once again noticeable that he just doesnt have that acceleration to get away from players anymore, as a result his actual skill (or lack thereof) is being found out and he cant get the clear cut chances he needs in order to score. I love it.

Also, and i say this honestly without a hint of bitterness, sturridge was clearly the better striker this evening yet he was pulled off. ha ha avb is a **** and i dislike him already.

That's absolutely fine and I completely understand why others feel that way.

I Just can't be bothered with the emotional attachment these days as it's nearly always going to end in disappointment. I'm too old to hold a grudge. I'm not saying I forgive him, but I do feel sorry for him and hope to some extent things improve for him. Preferably with Malaga rather than Chelsea

The second one came in injury time when Bayern L. sent everybody forward in hopes of scoring.

I looked rather foolish when I said I didnt want Torres to sign for us back in the day, I followed Aletico quite a bit back then and got to a couple of games as well, the Torres I saw was the one who walked around doing bugger all unless a goal scoring chance was coming his way.

However I was correct to sugguest selling him for his peak value and going for strength in depth to buy a few players, what we didnt know we were getting quality as well as depth.
