That's absolutely fine and I completely understand why others feel that way.

I Just can't be bothered with the emotional attachment these days as it's nearly always going to end in disappointment. I'm too old to hold a grudge. I'm not saying I forgive him, but I do feel sorry for him and hope to some extent things improve for him. Preferably with Malaga rather than Chelsea

    and I'd have him back

I'd have him back too, for no more than £12m and on a pay-as-you-play reduced wage full of goal bonuses.

He'd need to learn that he's not Billy big balls and that there's a debt of gratitude that LFC deserves to be shown

He would have won a title or two so am sure he would not have been that disappointed.

All of those currently jumping on the 'Torres is now ****e' bandwagon are missing a very important point....

....He scored a cracking OVERHEAD kick in training.

What don't you understand about that? He scored! An overhead kick! in training!

              Sheesh some people.

They were a very different Chavski under Maureen.

Why not have him cleaning the bogs too.

Come on, we'd all take a punt on that.

I don't hate the lad, i'm just happy that having left lfc for so called bigger and better.....he's fallen flat on his face, happens to all of us in life, no biggy, he's still got a missus, is a multi millionaire and is nearly as handsome as i am, so why anyone feels the need to be sorry for him i don't know.

A quiz for anyone with a keen mind for all things 'Torres' since he left Chelsea.

                        Modifying post.

Season before (well within 18 month period) he scored 18 league goals in 22 appearances, that's a goal every 96 mins - the only player who had a better goals/mins rate was Drogba who managed a goal in only 30 seconds less time, and I'm sure he even took a few penalties too.

Even last season he managed 9 in 23 - not too bad considering the majority of that Hodgson was in charge and the whole team was playing '****'.

                          Injury prone yes, **** no.
I think this also highlights the point he himself was trying to make, when playing under Rafa our attack was quick and direct, as a result he often had space to run into and players to play the killer pass.

With Spain the build up tended to be slower and tiki taka doesn't suit him on bit. Under Hodgson our football was also rather slow and co-incidental. Then comes Chelsea, who also have somewhat slower build up than we did under Rafa. I reckon Torres would have flourished in Mourinho's Chelsea but this team isn't quite as direct. He was perfectly suited for Rafa's Liverpool.
                          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I dont think it negates from you as a fan in the slightest. I can understand feeling sorry for him, but i just dont

We all loved him once, so it's very easy to feel sorry for him now and i almost did, but managed to sway away from it.

I'm sure though, at the same time, that you find us extracting £50m from Chelsea, for a striker who scores 1 in about 20 odd games, pretty humourous.

Clearly he's not happy but AVB comment that he'll investigate what he said is strange one.
