Must be terrible for him having to play with those sub standard footballers like Mata, Lampard, Raul, Malouda & Sturridge.

Mata's a good player, arguably Sturridge but Lampard & Malouda aren't really young players though. He's made a massive mistake going there.Originally posted by BringbackBiscan View PostMust be terrible for him having to play with those sub standard footballers like Mata, Lampard, Raul, Malouda & Sturridge. Are we winning?

They're not young no but they're very good footballers. Both would arguably walk into our side. Which is why I fail to see the logic in how he'd thrive back at Liverpool.Originally posted by NigelLG View PostMata's a good player, arguably Sturridge but Lampard & Malouda aren't really young players though. He was useless for quite a while when here. Showed up when he wanted too & rarely gave 100%, apart from when he wanted too. That's why I won't forgive him.
I honestly don't care that he went to Chelsea but any player not giving 100% for so long and then clearing off whenever he had no excuses left anymore for why he wasn't performing, that's what makes him a cunt.
Yesterday was the most open premier league game of football I've seen in years. Both defences played like schoolboys, yet he didn't even get a sniff of goal, hilarious really.

Yeah he had a couple on a plate but Sturridge and, er, someone else ****ed up. He did have a very poor game mind.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostAlthough on at least one occasion he was stood on the 6 yard line waiting for a tap in but the wide man shot and missed. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It was a foul to be fair - the use of arms should be banned from the game altogether imo. I hate it when players hand off other players like it's rugby & the worst part is most of the time the refs let it go...Originally posted by Chrono View PostThere was a great moment yesterday where he was fight for the ball on the wing, got smacked in the face with a flailing arm, went to ground looking at the linesman moaning like a bitch and then the defender cleared the ball right in to his boat, conceded the thrown in because it came off his face last.
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

I'm think it's fine for players to use their arms but only in the way Ashley Cole did it..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

With Chelsea's terrible defending at the weekend against Arsenal – and the fact they managed to score three goals – Fernando Torres's poor performance was largely overlooked. Chelsea tried to move the ball quickly through the middle of the pitch but created little for the Spaniard to get excited about – their chances generally came from crosses into the box for headers, or long-range attempts, like Juan Mata's goal.
If you discount Torres making five completed passes from kick-offs after goals were scored his pass completion ratio was just 50% - in other words, he passed to an opponent as frequently as he passed to a team-mate. His duels with opponents weren't much more impressive – he won only 25% of aerial challenges, attempted dribbles and ground tackles.
It would have been interesting to see how quickly André Villas-Boas would have called for Didier Drogba – with Arsenal vulnerable in the air and always nervous against the Ivorian, his poor tackle against QPR last weekend robbed Chelsea of their most dangerous weapon against the Gunners.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
