Well earned as well it would be.Originally posted by rcasemore View Postif he's played more than 10 league games - yes.
Another David Nugent-esque performance yesterday, and yet Sky were still harping on about him flicking the ball through in the first half as a highlight.
**** me.......I've seen N'Gog do that ****, and I wouldn't pay 50m for him.
Long may the drought continue.........wonder if he'll even get a goal in those 10 league appearances."I will make the boys feel your support"

some may call me bitter
- some may say we should forget about torres and move on
- but i am ****ing loving it
- he will eventually score, and when he does, my god will the media go nuts about it....but the longer this continues the funnier it gets.....
I just hope he is sitting there thinking "god i ****ed up!"
harsh, yeah probably but **** him.
The fact that not only Suarez being on fire, but that andy carroll has shown more in his limited minutes after a long lay off, just makes it even more sweeter.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

And I think you could be right there, of all the possible "top" teams in the Prem this would be the most likely for me.Originally posted by spanky View Postif Rafa signs for another uk club i think it would be man city
I don't see Mancini there next season and with Maureen likely to be moving on from Madrid it's the club that makes the most sense!

Can't speak for everyone,
but for me, its not a case of getting over it or anything like that as he means **** all to me and my connection with our club............but he's the one who has made himself a target in my eyes, so why shouldn't we laugh at him (just the same as all those feckers at other clubs we love to have a laugh at these days)
We're better off without him and his lack of commitment.......of that I am 100% certain."I will make the boys feel your support"

I have a feeling that any Rafa / Chelsea hook up would end in tearsOriginally posted by Rudo View PostYeah, Rafa would manage Chelsea...not a problem and in fairness you couldn't blame him.
I don't see it happening though and i don't think the Chelsea fans would be too happy with Rafa as their manager.
Think their players are right backstabbing cunts and with Rafa being distant (at best) with his playing staff I think they'd **** him over in a heart beatBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

if Rafa got the Chelsea job I also think motormouth Mourinho would be at it 24/7 making jibes in the pressOriginally posted by Lecter View PostI have a feeling that any Rafa / Chelsea hook up would end in tears

- i was devasted he left, we all were - but we move on, and i was pleased that the club moved quickly and brought in Carrol and Suarez...
Fast forward a couple of months - and I am no estactic - we made the right choice, we got the best years and form out of torres, sold him for £50m!!! past his best, and brought in two players who potentially, could be our two strikers for the next 10 years
But..since the torres transfer, he has come out and told us how **** life was at liverpool, how happy and great things are at chelsea etc etc - he's set himself up for this and right now he is failing
Even bitter blues i know are on our side with this
- they will try and wind us up and say torres will score etc, but eventually they all admit that he has ****ed up, looks ****, is failing miserably and liverpool have come out better off

I think Chelsea have a shot at the title and if Torres wins a medal then I'm sure he'll think he made the right move. Let's be honest, he's too good a player not to come good. He's snatching at chances but once he gets a couple he'll start banging them away.
TBH I'm just gutted we didn't get to see him up top with Suarez, but we move on. Personally I'm not bothered about the success of Torres at Chelsea now. When he left I'll admit I was very bitter but now I'm not arsed. I'm more concerned about Andy Carroll coming good than Torres at the Chavs. If Carroll comes good then it really will be "Torres who?" because we will have replaced him with a top class couple of players in Carroll and Suarez.
And I fully believe that if Henry does mean business and we attract some top players in the summer, there is no reason we can not rival Chelsea for top honours next year. Oh, and if I was offered a deal of Torres banging in ten goals and getting a title medal, in exchange for Carroll/Suarez banging in ten goals and us getting 4th - I'd happily take it.Forwards.......

Torres past his best? MAYBE. Still top class? Definitely.Originally posted by PTP View PostFast forward a couple of months - and I am no estactic - we made the right choice, we got the best years and form out of torres, sold him for £50m!!! past his best, and brought in two players who potentially, could be our two strikers for the next 10 years
IMO he was poor for us because he lost the will, and he says so as much himself. And at Chelsea he just needs a couple of goals and trust me, he'll be flying again.
Are we better of for selling him? Doubtful. But if Carroll steps up to his potential then that could prove to be the case. No point getting £50m for Torres if the players we spend it on don't perform. The success of that deal really does depend on how well Carroll does.
That said, it's all relative. Torres didn't want to be here so what more could the club do? It wasn't like we wanted to sell him so we could buy Carroll and Suarez. Suarez was already a planned purchase. So we deal with what we have and hopefully in the long run Torres ****ing off turns out to be a good thing.Forwards.......
