I hope its true, that way it should mean his head and heart are definitely not with the chavs and he will be **** all season. Basically if hes even thinking about it its gonna happen, probably january. Nice.

Maybe a cheeky bid.....tap him up and get him to make friends with stevie and jamie again.

I am trying to think of a footballer who'd fallen from grace so far so quickly at what is supposedly the peak of their career, I really can't think of one.

I mean he was 26 when he moved there and still 27, only other one I can remotely think of Schevchenko but he'd been at the top for a long time and was just about 30 when he moved.

        From CFC.net:

Yep, its gone beyond ridiculous. A £50m man who we apparently can't expect to do anything and he has to have the perfect pass delivered to him 6 yards out or we can never expect him to score. It's bonkers.

"He's still injured" "Just needs a morale boost after leaving Liverpool" "He can't play without Yossi Benayoun" "He's settling in to a new city" "He just needs a summer break" and 10s and 10s of others, if we had those 3 players listed the next excuse would be "we've got no wingers".

He's been absolutely woeful and more worringly his attitude is become more and more like his later Liverpool days, he should have been sent off v Norwich and the petulance is more regular, sure we aren't set up perfectly for him but he's one of the most expensive players ever and he can't do anything! I pray Malaga can come up with a big bid and we can go forward with some young, hungry players.

I know Malaga have got a truckload of money but **** me, what a comedown that'd be.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Torres may be a bit of a ****wit but surely he wouldn't see the tramp with arse-smelling hands and buckfast breath as a potential saviour? He'll go home to Spain.

There's no way the mancs would fork out big money on him, he's washed up. And he'll be on the lookout for a move back home.

                    Maybe even this summer.

AVB may go after Falcao, if he repeats the last season, and Torres will be used a make-weight to do the deal.

If that happens and he openly admits his biggest mistake ever was to leave LFC I would find it in my heart to forgive him.

Until then he's still El Cuntino for me.

Yeah he left Atletico with his head held high. No way back from him here or anywhere else in the PL. The only other place I could see him going is AC Milan - they seem to like big name players just past their peak, almost trophy signings to make it appear they're still competing for the big names and European Cup.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has made it clear that Fernando Torres must perform better for Chelsea if he wants to earn a recall to the national team.

Torres has struggled since joining the Blues from Liverpool for £50million at the end of the January transfer window, scoring just one goal for his new club.

He has been an established member of the Spain side for a long time but Del Bosque has insisted the 27-year-old will not be treated as a special case.

Del Bosque always picks his teams based on club form and, having left Torres out of the starting XI for Tuesday's 6-0 Euro 2012 qualifying victory over Liechtenstein, he has told the Chelsea man to improve his performances if he is to get back in.

"There were ten players who didn't play," said Del Bosque.

"He (Torres) is an important player, but the people selected for the national team are those who do well for their clubs, not the other way round."

Alvaro Negredo scored twice against Liechtenstein to take his international goalscoring record to five in seven games, and the Sevilla striker has nothing but respect for Torres.

"He came down to the dressing room after the game and congratulated me," said Negredo.

"I'm not going to enter into whether he was annoyed or anything - it was a great gesture to congratulate me for the goals.

"It isn't much fun to come and not play a single minute, but he is a great colleague and is one of the captains of the team."

What an amazing fall from Grace this has turned out to be, who would have thought when he left us that he would only go on to score 1 goal up until now for the Chavs and be dropped from the national team

Just goes to show how fickle football can be
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Ouch, that will put some extra pressure on his shoulders, I am almost feeling sorry for him, just almost. However I think he'll have a stormer of a game the next time he plays us.

It is really amazing what has happened to torres! I do feel sorry for him to be fair! literally gone from one of the worlds best players to absolutely nothing over night! his situation almost reminds me of Space Jam when the basketball players get their talent stolen from them
