it'd be great to see a wider shot of that scene.
i wonder if costa was backing off cos one of the other chelsea players have told him to back off worrying/knowing he might lose it.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Billy Whitehurst was an absolute hard case, who used to supplement his football income with bareknuckle boxing in the traveller community.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI used to know John Lukic a bit and he told me Steve Bould was widely regarded as the hardest man in the game at the time and that he once nailed Vinny Jones in a tunnel.

Others like Alan Hansen thought Whitehurst was a lunatic.
Hansen, one of the most cultured of central defenders, admits to scouring the fixtures on the summer's day they were published to see when Liverpool had to visit Oxford United or wherever the danger lurked.
"I knew big Billy would be waiting for me," he said. "He frightened every centre-half - and I do mean frightened."Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
