Don't think it's gait related. I mid foot strike and picked it up. The tennis ball/ golf ball thing illeviates up until you start running on it again then it just flares up again. I've also had cortisone injections which only dampened the pain as well as trying foot rollers, PF sock, splints worn in bed etc. Basically once it's there it's there and you're ****ed. Fortunately I ****ed up my knee snowboarding and 5 months of zero activity got shot of mine not sure Jermaine will have the same luxury.
