But he went to Saudi to purse his dream of achieving World Peace.

    He dared to dream.

It's what he should have done when he left us.

Rumours floating around that he will be leaving Ajax and moving back to Sunderland.

Surprised that "Hendo" didn't "manage the game" and lead his team to glory.

Fair play to PSV I guess. 103 goals scored and +64 goal difference suggests they deserved it.

Feel for Hendo, that is quite the choke from Ajax.

He scored his first goal for them in a 2-0 win today, but PSV won 3-1 to win the title by a point.

Looks like his Ajax side could bottle the league, a month or so ago they were 9 points clear with 5 to play, in the last 4 games they picked up 2 points and go into final day 1 point behind PSV

Don't know much about the situation but he spoke really well & seems fairly emphatic. A club angling to get rid of an over paid, under performing player to get the wages off the books isn't far fetched, although neither is a player wanting out & angling for a move behind the scenes. Ultimately, I don't really care.

There are still plenty of people who can play nicely even then, although a significant sum cannot. Even if they already have hundreds of billions...

Sideways point - you have to hand it to the dutch media for actually being able to understand him with, especially referring to himself as 'Us' all the time!
He was a bit evasive though about "the details".

It does sound like they wanted to sell him, but couldnt agree a fee. Sounded like he was up for it, but it fell through. Whether he was upset. Its not like he can get stoned, so I can see the attraction of Monaco.

I thought a lot of the **** about him was a bit unfair in the past. Not seeing a massive difference between him and Salah trying to squeeze every penny, apart from talent.

I think he is shot as a player anyway. HE was awful in his last year for us.
Can’t help but think the Club have asked him to take a pay cut to stay or they’d look to sell him to which he’d have replied a contract is a contract so no.
