    It seems Monaco aren't willing to pay a fee and they and Henderson want Ajax to rip up his contract and let him go on a free. He was Ajax captain as well, so not a great look...

    Just noticed that he is not not included on Sunderland's list of notable ex players at all.


    The likes of Pickford, Ndong and even Colin Pascoe get listed.

    Hard to feel too sorry for him really, by the sounds of it he'd been told he was going to be a bit part player and didn't want to fight for his spot, on top of that he took the lucrative but flies in the face of what he said he stood for option which clearly didn't work out.
