    He was excellent first half.

I think that he is another who still isn't match fit following a fairly long lay off. Hopefully when he gets a decent amount of football under his belt he'll be back to where he was.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I remember saying similar about Lucas for two or three years. I would point to his injury and say it was just a matter of needing game time.

The thing is though, just how much game time is needed. He resumed full training last May I think, and had training time with England in the summer along with a chunk of our preseason, plus three games so far this season.

This is Henderson's sixth season with us and he really has had only one really good season from the previous five seasons. Yes he has a season from that five that was badly impacted by injury, but I think he has shown, over the past five seasons, that his level is that of a good squad player (in terms of being part of a team that wants a CL spot each season or a regular tilt at the title).

I would get great pleasure if come May I am eating my words about him as it would most likely mean that he and the team had just had a very good season, but I cannot shake the feeling that he is a decent to good mid table team type player and an average squad player for any teams higher than that.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I think Dahoud will replace him next season (or maybe January?)

Looks to me like a player trying to find his feet in the team again. At his best he helps the team play very fluent football. He just doesn't seem to have that confidence back yet.

Some folks on Twitter are losing their **** over the prospect of Henderson being appointed as the new England captain. It would be pretty funny if it did happen.

I hear the FA have a nickname for their new England manager, BFG. (tru fact)

                Can you guess ?

Really good from Jordan yesterday. He would have rounded off a solid performance if he'd grabbed that goal. He was influential in pretty much everything in the centre good progressive passing and spotting moments of danger.

                            Encouraging.

It was, but it was a relatively easy day in the office with Leicester playing 4-4-2 and without a real replacement for Kante. I can't see them finishing top half unless they set themselves up totally differently and stumble on a different but effective strategy.

Compared to the previous games where he could barely control the ball though this was a commanding performance.

Yep, Kante is a huge loss for Leicester.
