I give him all sorts of ****. But credit where its due. He was beastly against Roma.

If he could do that every game he'd be a world class destroyer.

I like others have been underwhelmed by Henderson in recent years and feared he would never get back to previous levels. He has proved me wrong recently and his performances have been outstanding. Most surprisingly his leadership of the team in times of adversity within matches has been excellent. Good lad.

I've been pretty consistent in backing him, but he does have fitness issues at times so we need another number 6 even if it just so we don't become light in that role all of a sudden, especially with Can leaving.

Delighted to see him hit peak form at just the right time though.

Have to say, half of those would be given a foul in the current state of the PL. CL football refereeing has been a breath of fresh air

Brilliant again tonight. Putting out fires all match.

I think he is turning into a real leader.

My highlight was post match when the entire squad was celebrating at the end of the pitch. Hendo walked up to Karius who turned round smiling expecting a hug, his face fell when he saw Jordan who went on to start shouting and gesticulating at him, I think about not coming to claim high balls

              Epic.

Will be something else to see him lift the trophy. One more big CL performance left.

He has grown indisputably into our captain the last few months. There is no doubt now.
                Are we winning?

I doubt it was that as Karius came for everything.

It definitely was though. Karius took a lot of crosses but he began to stay on his line after the second goal.

Watch it, it’s just after full time.

                    I’m not making it up

Yeah it was Karius. A few of us mentioned it in the match thread. Also nice touch him getting the stewards to get the Sean Cox Flag for the team.

He is seriously underrated player, you can see such a difference in our forward play and organisation of the midfield when he plays.

Not many I would swap him with tbh.

Look at Real's midfield, with Modric, Kroos, isco etc. I really hope we can get some of the ball in the middle of the pitch.
