Yeah, got taken apart by Spurs and very narrowly won at Juve. It's a good midfield for sure but we have a very underrated midfield.

Since he has come back from that injury he has been absolutely immense. He's lashing players out it, directing the midfield and getting stuck in more than I have ever seen him. Really showing captain material. I don't think he is the most technically gifted guy or a pass master but he does have some great attributes.

Great gesture that was instigated by Hendo. Been outstanding since christmas and maybe it has just took him time to grow out of the Stevie G shadow. IMO VVD is the perfect captain but Hendo is doing quite well at moment and looking like a leader in the middle of the pitch.

I agree with that.

I only worry about his injury record. He does take a while to find his form again, but he does seem back to his best.

Having "captains" all over the pitch is a mark of a great team... remember the 80s...

Ruud Gullit said something interesting about Henderson which is that he always turns the wrong way when receiving the ball and this leads to more backward passes.

I don't see it myself but they're far more knowledgable than me of course!
