I've always stuck up for him but he's struggling at the minute. I think he's frustrated - his season has never really got going and with the increased competition for places he looks like he's playing with extra weight on his shoulders.

I also wonder if we're starting to outgrow him, like we have done Lallana, Clyne and others. He's a top fella, a good captain and a positive influence around the place imo, and Klopp absolutely loves him, but if he becomes a squad player that would be fine with me.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I get the outgrowing thing, I think we need to go up a level and I love Hendo but his limits have been reached I think.

Doesn't make him a bad player or the scapegoat by any means, we just need an upgrade.

If he does leave, what team would benefit from his style of play the most?

I don't think we'll sell him any time soon. He'll get plenty of games but hopefully not many alongside Milner and Wijnaldum. That should not stop us looking for better players. We should always be looking for better - at every position.
              Another MASSIVE game

I presume that was the plan in the Summer, unfortunately it hasnt happened yet, Ox is injured and Keita/Fabinho havent found there Mojo's yet but it has great potential if we ever see it!!

Spot on with the second paragraph, we have moved to another level and he is not at that level unfortunately. Has had every opportunity in massive games but can’t remember his last standout performance

Hendo's best asset was always his engine, recent times that seems to have disappeared... has had a nightmare with injuries too. Like Hendo but he was never the most accomplished footballer. Great squad player to have but you can't really have your captain on the bench every game. He may or may not get back to his best but VVD should be captain, he embodies everything you want in a captain.

Also time for Keita and Fabinho to step up their game, no more bedding in excuses

I think it was a bit unfortunate for Naby that he picked up an injury and then had to wait for his chance because the team was doing well. I think he'll get his chance now.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

Only way for them to bed in on the pitch is with game time. A start every now and then is not going to do a lot for either.

                                Great second half.

                                Dominated midfield with Gini.
