Anyone who isn't a fan of his is losing the argument. We're so much weaker without him

We miss Henderson’s (and Milner’s) leadership.
                        Another MASSIVE game

Henderson organisation is massive as well

I am quite confident the first goal might have been prevented if Hendo was playing as I am pretty sure he would have organised Trent to be in the correct place from the throw
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Probably the only plus point from the last 2 performances is they have highlighted (as some of us have been saying for a long while ) just what a key player Henderson is.

Intangibles such as the above (organisation, leadership, setting standards) are hard to quantify statistically, but they are massively important. The choreography of our game needs someone to lead and organise. Our leader in this respect has been Henderson for a long time now.

The fact is he does all of this and contributes. He changes up how we play (range of passing) meaning we don't become predictable. Pundits (Neville I think) have also noticed how are game evolves during 90 mins and the question has been asked as to how this is managed on the pitch as to them it is not an obvious instruction. I think we know the answer now.

Great players in our team (Van Dijk) allude to his leadership. And as Virgil has found out over the last 2 games there is more to captaining this team than just wearing the arm band.

It feels crucial that he is fit to plat Athletico. If not we need someone to bring what he does to the team big time.

                                Sounds encouraging.

Elsewhere, Klopp revealed Naby Keita has been back in training, Jordan Henderson remains unavailable but is targeting a return for the tie with Atletico, and Xherdan Shaqiri is still sidelined.
