He's a God, it'll piss a lot of 'fans' off when he picks up the PL trophy. What a professional. The most unselfish, disciplined, hard working player I've ever seen
Anyone think he went to the boss and said he knows he gets it in the ear from a section of our support and wants a few games to prove what he's really about?

Seems to really get the bit between his teeth when it comes to the business end of things. Was excellent in 13/14, instrumental in our CL run last year and hitting form at the right time again this year. Just need to get over that final hurdle.
(That being said, when he misplaces his first pass against Stockport in a pre-season friendly, Twitter/forums will go into meltdown again.)If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

A man possessed he is. Delighted he is being played in his preferred role, I really hated him in that deep role, it just went against every ability he has & exposed his weaknesses. He is not a pass master that can control games, nor is he a yard dog ball winner that likes to sit in that deep role but to be fair to him he was asked to play there by Klopp.
He's progressive, loads of energy and loves to burst forward. Huge kudos to him for saying it straight out to Klopp about playing a role that suits his natural game. Although I think VVD should be captain, that took balls to say that to Klopp, it shows he is a leader & believes he has more to contribute. He seems to have a point to prove now and it's brilliant. He is showing similar traits to 13/14 - 14/15 season where he got lots of assists and chipped in with goals bursting from midfield.
We have missed someone breaking through the midfield lines to support the front men, this is something Henderson does perfectly. Gives forwards more support and gives opposition something else to worry about. Fair play to him, hope he tears it up for the rest of the season.

Agree with all of that apart from the captain bit, Virge will have to wait his turn.
