Parades went for £20m to Zenith this summer - we should have been all over that.
Very true. He seems to take an age to control it this season, or is it just me? Maybe it's the press putting him off and showing him up a bit.

Yup, he should be rested and the midfield three should be Wij, Coutinho and Can. By leaving both Milner and Henderson out, the armband can go to Can and he can earn the right to keep it. Hopefully we can get him to sign a contract after that!

The fact Henderson was playing tonight would allude to that being the plan alresdy.

He started badly last season then kicked on (then got injured).

It's not happening for him this season. Maybe needs to sit a big game out to wake him up.

A bit lightweight with Coutinho and Woody. Throw in either Milner or Wijnaldum for Woodburn and we've got a solid 3.

              Totally agree.

                He was excellent today.
                Are we winning?

He was. Won't necessarily get the plaudits though because only 90% of his passes went to his own team mates and most of them weren't defence splitters

I think I'm gonna concede the argument about him in the 6. He is somehow far better winning the ball high up the pitch - on the rare occasions he ventures forward (in this role) he is constantly winning balls in very dangerous areas. For his winning goal he's won the ball (albeit in a deeper area) and made a great run forward before finishing. Well done Jordan, made up for you.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah it's weird how he can be bypassed so easily when he's the holding mid but when he's further up the pitch he seems capable of nicking the ball in dangerous positions. He did ok today but his passing was ordinary for the most part.

He really needed that goal.I have been critical of him on times especially in that deeper role but frankly it is just not his position. He s much more comfortable bombing forward and playing box to box than sitting deep and trying to dictate the game which IMO he really isn't good at. A dedicate DM wouls do absolute2wonders for this team and the players around him.

I think Klopp is trying to evolve the team, by having a No.6 who presses, but that requires a high defensive line, and the team to be compact. Our defence really isn't that high compared to what it could be if we had, say, VVD in there. The team would therefore be more compact, and able to handle it when the No.6 presses high.

It also requires one of the other central midfielders to drop back a little. We're still a work in progress with regard to this set-up.

IMO out of the midfield Can is the only one equipped enough to drop back and play the role. It's not ideal for a progressive player like Can but I do think he has more aspects to his game that make him a better option than Hendo in the deeper role.

Ultimately though both Hendo and Can are box to box players that love getting forward. Playing that disciplined defensive role they have been asked to do goes against everything they are.

He was very good, but I sometimes wish he was a littler bit more nimble in recycling the ball, he's a bit too sturdy sometimes, don't know if I'm making my point clear enough.
                              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I get what you mean. He's like a statue at times & seems to need too many touches to get the ball out from under his feet. He doesn't handle being pressured in tight spots.
