I personally think Henderson is pushing into that category. It's all opinions but he's been world class for 18 months now arguably.

Hendo is a very good player, but not world class... or at least not on his footballing abilities...
What makes him world class for us, IMO, is his leadership. When he’s on the pitch, everyone plays better. We are so much more intense as a team, with him playing.. just look at the difference, when he was missing vs villa... not saying that that’s the reason we conceded 7, but we seemed to have no fight in us, that day..I don't tip

I think that he's a player perfectly suited to the system, if you put him in another side where his role is slightly different or the team play in a different way I don't think he is as effective or look as good. Obviously you could say that about any player to some degree but I feel that the more skillful players would probably would be affected to a lesser degree.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He’s one of my favourite players in the entire time (35 plus years of supporting) just for what he stands for and for how he never gives up. Throw in his ability good on the ball, strong in defence, tireless and he is the complete package, the perfect captain.
We were ‘on it’ on Tuesday from kick off. You could hear the entire team communicating, orchestrated by Hendo.Modifying post.

I think a lot of it was beyond commonplace communication during the game itself. The clips yeah, but his clarity of info and timing were spot on in on the night, it stood out massively. He understands not just the game well but OUR game perfectly.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostFairly commonplace, regular stuff but it's ****ing great to hear it, and I suppose it's amazing how many footballers don't take it upon themselves to be so vocal and lead like that. I love him.
He's gone from someone who I think Klopp was looking to replace or move down the pecking order to our most important midfielder. I think we miss his presence more than anyone else. If not, its certainly not clear cut.Vive la France
