For all the good times and hard times we've seen him through as fans over the years, he comes across as one of the nicest lads in the squad and always putting others and the team ahead of self-interest. It's a rare quality and after trying to step into to fill Stevie G's boots when he left, he's done an amazing job.

Got to admit, some of the absolute praise for him in that video was emotional... especially Jurgen saying they couldn't help but smile at each other if they met again in 10 or 20 years time... ****ing hell we have a team of hard-working gents and friends, as well as the best manager in the world. Happy days indeed.

We've needed a good spell for LFC for decades and we've hit paydirt so enjoy it while it lasts, fellas... they've given us some great times and am a sure more will follow with this reshaped group.

Agree 100%. There are intangibles in sport that are totally necessary in delivering success. Hendo delivers many of these as well as being a top player. Midfielders in our system will always get grief - and Hendo is one who kops the most. But. What a servant he is and has been, he is the 1 player that embodies the journey we have been on over the past 10 years.

I know this will bring in all of the usual suspects claiming to know better. But as is mentioned in that doc, he is massively appreciated by his peers and boss and that is surely worth more.

Must say though, even though I am usually on the side of the fence that wants the monarchy got rid off, that I quite like the look/design of those medals/trinkets and if queenie wants to give me one of them, I would be happy to let her onto my property to hand deliver the medal. Might even let her brew a cuppa for herself before she goes on her way.
