He looks the real deal. Granted, ****e opposition so of course he's probably not ready yet.
People compare him to Raheem, not for me. If Raheem is Messi, then Ibe is Ronaldo. He's taller & will be a beast of a player if he continues to develop. I'm hoping Ibe stays tbh & gets odd games here & there up into Xmas. Dependant on competitions we are in and how he's done, loan him out in January.
Difficult as if our loan players are setting the lower leagues on fire then we tend to write them off. But for me, they need to be in the right club. Wisdom was in a perfect club at Derby with a perfect coach who is brilliant at developing players. Be a bit more difficult if they get promoted & become cannon fodder though.
Picking a club out the hat, if Neil Adams stays Norwich would be the kind of club I'd loan our players too.
Oh, and wait until the likes of Sterling, Couts and Ibe when he comes through learn how to shoot - Jeez, we'd be scary.Forwards.......

I'd like to see him go on loan again but hopefully in some PL club like Southampton or Swansea etc.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostLooks a prospect.
Will be interesting to see if we ship him on loan, or start him a la Sterling.
When ever we loan players out it pretty much always seems a precursor to us selling them...
He is lacking finishing touch and needs game time to fully continue with his growth.
If he stays with us his playing opportunities will be very limited.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

They bought Shelvey off of us since the two examples you mentioned, so doubt ii there was/is a bad relationship there.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Jordan Ibe wants to follow Raheem Sterling's path to the Liverpool first team
Jul 14, 2014 09:16
By James Pearce
"Raheem is only a year older than me so I need to follow in his footsteps"
Jordan Ibe is determined to follow in the footsteps of fellow Liverpool FC winger Raheem Sterling.
The talented teenager has seen Sterling firmly establish himself at Anfield and now Ibe is out to do the same.
“Raheem is only a year older than me so I need to follow in his footsteps, and watch all of the other attacking players. He’s done well and scored a lot of goals,” Ibe said.
“He’s working hard all the time in training and impressing the manager. Because he’s young, players are helping him, so hopefully they can do the same for me.”
Ibe, who spent the end of last season on loan at Birmingham City, knows the club’s pre-season schedule represents a great opportunity for him to force his way into Brendan Rodgers’ plans for 2014/15.
“For me personally, I’m trying to get into the first team and hopefully get minutes,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.
“I’ll try to do well in pre-season first and see how it goes.
“I’m still quite young, I’m only 18, so I need to stay grounded, watch the senior players in my position, keep working hard and hopefully I can do well this season.
“It’s just about working hard in pre-season and most of all impressing in pre-season and on tour.
“The manager’s message was just to take it into the new season. And especially to try to get more goals; working on my finishing is the most important thing.”If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
