Still think he will be better than Raheem.

Most fans (certainly below the Premiership) tend to worry to much about flair players 'going missing'.Originally posted by BigChief View PostDerby vs Chelsea on tonight, SS1. Probably worth a watch to see where our lad is at.
Reading a Derby forum last night the fans see him as someone who could have a magic moment that could be the difference. But some don't want him playing because of his ability to go missing or dribbling down blind alleys (Baros).
Maybe needs another half a season there to really blossom, and learn."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Suso is the only player to have performed consistently in a top league. He had a very good season last year. Neither ibe or tex could attract a team in a good league for a loan, and seem to have fizzled out a bit playing at a lower level. Markovic performed in a second rate league.Originally posted by baitman View Postibe and tex for sure, suso not su much.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Wow McLaren and the whole Derby team are a bunch of idiots. Red card aside, here is what I saw when Ibe was on:
1. Derby posed zero danger all game to Chelsea. Every player in blue looked comfortable
2. Ibe got hold of the ball twice in dangerous situations, neither time by a decent Derby pass but instead by a header out or deflection that fell to him
3. Both times he gave the two best fullbacks in the prem (Azpilecuetta and Ivanovic) a torrid time, they literally shat their pants. Something I've never seen before.
4. One of his runs, and causal pant shatting, resulted in the eventual goal
5. After red card McLaren shunts him to the right wing and puts Martin/Russell on the left - a side where Derby were constantly attacking down
6. Ibe didn't touch the ball meaningfully once after that. Derby players all right footed were naturally passing to the left wing
If you're down to ten men and you have legs and pace as fresh and fast as Ibe you fcking look for him as much as you possibly can. It was almost like the Derby players didn't trust him over their own 'abilities'. Very disappointed in Derby tonight, they won't be joining the premiership next season on this evidence. One tit for another.

I have vague memories that the usage made by BigChief may in fact be the historically oldest. With 'literally' being derived from the same root as literature. But I only half remember it and certainly can't be bothered to research the truth of this.Last edited by dww; 17-12-14, 10:14 AM."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
