He's very intense eh. Certainly commands attention and makes you want to listen. Its everything really, body language, confidence and he is extremely articulate for a coach. Just comes across like a man who knows what he wants and as a manager you need that kind of leadership. Our players will thrive from it.

i think the amount to which general tactics are a surprise to other managers is greatly overstated.

Fantstic interview.
The bit that sttod out for me when discussing young players was that they had to impress him every daye, day in day out, week after week to prove they were good enough, not go crying for "15 minutes at the end of the game to show what they can do"

Pretty sure at the end of pre season Suso was quoted along those lines, it's clear that he got into Sterling a little bit and he responded fantastically.
If Suso has responded as well then he will also be involved soon.

Trying to remember another press day where they press actually applauded the manager after, one of them tells Brendan it was a "privilege" to be there.

I love people like Brendan Rodgers, like sitting at a bar with an old wise man, u could listen to him talking about tactics all day long, he is inspirational in so many ways and I now firmly believe that there cannot be another out there better for the job. So much respect for the man. Just left feeling disappointment that the club wasted so much cash in recent future oh well, we are where we are. I for one am on BR's train and very much looking forward to the journey.

Obviously all this is entirely useless without good results but **** me he can talk and he is super impressive. You can see why FSG abandoned their structural plans after talking to Brendan.

I've asked this before but no-one answered. I can't remember where I saw it but I read once that he is a fully qualified NLP expert. Anyone know anything about that? It wouldn't surprise me

It is but, our own expectations have to be kept in check too. To be fair I think we are another season off the top four. This is a project and a journey, the man talks good, however he is not a miracle worker.
