Just watched all of that. Have to say Rodgers continues to impress me, he has a touch of arrogance which I think is necessary in his position, but he also is eloquent and I believe honest in what he says. He very much believes in what he is doing and believes it will lead to success, which is hard to argue with at this juncture.
Couple of interesting things in there; I like the idea of him sending Lucas out to watch other games and study tactics while he is injured. He obviously rates him very highly.
If Reina doesn't buck his ideas up I'm sure we'll be making a move for Vorm.
The stuff about Carra's attitude in training still being "the very best" was good to hear. Easy for us to forget that side to things at the club, good to hear that despite coming to the end of his career he's still setting such a good example.
And the stuff about the owners. I know he's bound as a new manager at the club to be complimentary, but still, food for thought for those concerned about FSG. "I genuinely came here first and foremost because of the owners, because I felt a real genuine honesty in their approach, how they want to go forward as a football club". Encouraging imo.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

This was a great thing to do, I have never heard of a manager doing this before.....It gives the right signals to Lucas.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostJust watched all of that. Everytime I listen to him its like having my brain licked by kate beckinsale. The guy can talk.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.
