Whilst i wouldn't mind us signing Salah i definitely agree we have at least other positions that should be priority. Although there maybe deals going on for those positions that we don't know about... hope so anyways.

If the budget is limited, which may or may not be the case, then I really don't get why he is pursuing a winger like Salah when a LB and a DM/CM should be our main priorities.

Alberto Moreno or Ricardo Rodríguez would be good choices for LB & M'Vila, Gonalons, Schneiderlin, Matuidi or Fernando for DM/CM and they are all still available.

I reckon under 25m should be enough to get a good LB and DM/CM and that type of money should be made possible for BR.

i would like to think that 25m is available to spend but im not sure. last window sturridge was already done by now and coutinho wasnt far behind. the fact that we're leaving it late says that either we're biding our time on a deal or that we're not making many.

It's getting late in the window & things have been so quiet. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing we'll shall out soon enough. Always nice to get players in early in a window to bed them into the side, but doesn't work out that way a lot of the time...as their so ****ing complicated.

“Salah to Chelsea isn’t completed yet though, but if the deal can’t be done, it can’t be done.

“We need players who can come in now and help us. Salah’s a talent, but we need to have several targets lined up.

“January is a difficult market. Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge last January were brilliant for us. We’ve improved, so it’s hard to improve team.
