Time will tell but with exception of Sturridge, Mignolet and Coutinho & Allen to some extent most of his signings have not been impressive so far.

    Borini £10.5m
    Allen £15m
    Assaidi £2.5m
    Yesil £1m
    Sturridge £12m
    Coutinho £8.6m
    Luis Alberto £6.8m
    Aspas £7.5m
    Mignolet £10m
    Toure Free
    Ilori £7m
    Sakho £15m

    TOTAL £95.9m (give or take)

Think we've got to take into account money we've recouped for what we've spent above.
      Are we winning?

Mignolet is by no means a success either yet. He may be better than Reina was but that doesn't equate to being a success for me. An Improvement yes, top quality? Jury's out.

Why? Sure we can give credit for money recouped, but tat doesn't come into it when judging is the signings have worked or failed.

Its great he saves us money, but would be better if he then spent it as and where needed.

Don't get me wrong, not meaning to have a go, I'm a BR fan, but need to judge it evenly.

My point as Kenneth said earlier was that his buys so far, especially this past summer, were not the greatest even though the money was spent but in fairness lack of CL football and our unwillingness to pay top wages has a lot to do with his choices in the transfer market.

Compared to Reina he is an improvement but it is early to properly judge him of course.

We've been absolutely awful in summer time with signings for quite some time. Which is all the more annoying when all and Sundry tell you that it's a better market than January. It certainly hasn't been for us for the most part!

I wonder what open later excuses we'll see from the club after this window?

Brendan has made mistakes in the transfer market for sure but what manager doesn't ? Oh and if you need reminding we aren't able to offer CL football or big wages so we're not able to shop in the top tier of players. But despite all that we haven't been out of the top 4 all season, have scored more goals than any other team bar City and only a month ago were top of the league so clearly this manager we have who you clearly don't rate is doing something right both on the pitch and in the transfer market.
I don't class either Mignolet or Sakho a success yet. Mignolet is pretty piss poor with a lot of things, but is a decent shot stopper. Sakho hasn't played enough for all the plaudits he gets and IMO is historically very error prone (and we paid through the nose for him). Sturridge and the Cout are the 2 players I'd say are a success, but thats mostly based on Coutinho's first season, this season he's regressed.

I think Brendans been rather fortunate to an extent this season with the way the goals have flowed. I don't see us repeating it next season. I'll stick with what I've always said and thats 6th place because we can't defend and Suarez leaving. This will be our best chance this season, but we need further investment, but I simply don't trust Brendan with the money anyway.

We have dropped out of the top 4 this season by the way, albeit very briefly.

I was tempted to give a proper reply to your post but after careful reflection I've decided that you're just a negative, boring, miserable time waster who will never be happy or satisfied with anything Brendan or FSG do at this club.

                              What a **** post.
So our manager, you know the one who picks the team, chooses the tactics etc... Has been fortunate that we've scored goals??
                              What complete bollocks.

How can Mignolet be piss poor when he's statistically one of the best keepers in the PL over the last 3 years?
And Sakho is historically error prone?? Says who? What mistakes has he made since signing for us?
Skrtel and Agger have been costing us goals for years.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

You're wasting your time trying to make this Tanner moron see sense or feel any positivity towards the club he supposedly supports.
