Rodgers kept Swansea up very comfortably, beyond all expectations really, playing that type of football. Which means he won enough games and scored enough goals to do so, the only "stat" that really counts.

And whatever happens today, Spain are the best international side we've seen in recent times, and Barca maybe the greatest side ever fullstop.

How much more evidence do you need that possession football is winning football?
