Money well spent if it means getting in someone who can attract a decent player or twoOriginally posted by Daniel 7 View PostIt might not cost to sign Ancelotti or Klopp, but its going to cost to sack Brendan (who only signed a new contract last year) and his team - that'll be their 3rd severance package since they joined. Millions spent on just sacking people.

I'm not sure it is the cheap option.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIf the likely increase in revenue next year was less than the cost of paying off the existing 'employee' and replacing his favourite staff with new staff that the new guy preferred.
I think brendan will stay because it's the cheap option.
Three good managers available on a free. No compensation.
Yes we'd have to pay off Rodgers, but imagine it goes wrong start of season, we'd either have to coast until May, or pay a big bag of cash to get a manager to break a contract as well as pay off Rodgers.
Klopp is available now, IMO if we wait he'll get a more attractive option in six months time after another teams season goes belly up.Forwards.......

MG: "So how do you feel the season went Brendan"
BR: "We had that wee bit of luck as a group with the Suarez money and the quality was enhanced, certainly in the respect that the group became almost like an inverse group and a half with the additions of Lambert who has quality, Balotelli who brought quality and Lallana who brought that wee bit of quality. He can play in those roles that don't exist behind the 7 1/2 and in front of the 8 1/3 that can make that wee bit of difference (strange hand gestures and seizure like facial expression). Lovren was a warrior in the sense that he did what most other people might not have asked him not to do and Can, who came to us as a midfielder don't forget, and he's young too, was recycled into a defender as I always knew he would be. Young Sterling, sadly, didn't have the quality needed for wing back but young players need coached, not trained like dogs. We've been unlucky in many games that we didn't have any luck in, sure, but there are no easy games these days. "
MG: ".................."
BR: "Joe Allen, by the way , was again outstanding and many people's player of the season."
