Well, hope we get better luck with injuries with our forward cos it's costing us points.

Cant say i agree with that. In reality they have spent a fair bit of cash, developed the ground, and have put money in.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostThe owners are mainly to blame. I don't blame Rodgers for soldiering on, sure he's not good enough and I can't wait to get rid of him. The owners should have sacked him during the summer. We swapped **** American owners for some slightly less **** American owners.
I suspect that BRs position will be under review soon.

At best you can say that we've stagnated into a mid table team. There is no expectation any more.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostCant say i agree with that. In reality they have spent a fair bit of cash, developed the ground, and have put money in.

dont get me wrong, im not happy with the team......i just dont think it is FSGs fault.... they have made the cash available. I dont think it is their fault that BR has wasted all of the cash, made the team play ****e, and generally have taken us backwards.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostAt best you can say that we've stagnated into a mid table team. Also, i think we have a decent set of players. A good manager could get us cooking on gas.

I don't think Brendan has as much control as he makes out.Originally posted by frank the tank View Postdont get me wrong, im not happy with the team......i just dont think it is FSGs fault.... they have made the cash available. I'd say Klopp would measure whole lot better than Rodgers. And Rodgers doesn't hold a candle to anyone else on that list.Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostSo basically what you are asking is how does Klopp rate against van Gaal, Pellegrini, Wenger, Mourinho, Blanc, Guardiola, Benitez, Luis Enrigue, Simeone and Allegri.
Pretty well would be my answer. He is behind Mourinho and Guardiola. He is behind Wenger and probably van Gaal although an arguement could be made that those two have seen their best years as a manager and that Klopp would possibly get the nod if he and those two applied for the same job.
Pelligrini for all his years in management has had less impact on a major domestic league or in the Champions league than Klopp has in far less time.
Blanc I think would still come behind Klopp and it is difficult to tell just how good a manager Luis Enrique is, but he does have some major honours under his belt, honours which were won after he faced some resistance from the players..
The rest of the names on there, Benitez, Simeone, and Allegri are probably part of the same tier( or very close to it) that Klopp is on, and it would be nip and tuck imo if Klopp and any of those three threw there name in for the same job.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Regardless of whether we beat Everton, just make the change during the international break. It would be harsh to sack him after a win in a big game, but it just feels so obvious that it'll only be a short term fix.
The project is over.
Who on earth would trust him for another few transfer windows? Who on earth would trust him to come up with a plan long term? Enough is enough. Anyone with a footballing brain can see we're just plodding along, but what's the destination and how we want to achieve it, I have no idea.Last edited by Phoenix07; 01-10-15, 10:35 PM.
