I have lived in Scotland for 26 out of 41 years! Been a season ticket holder at Hearts. Watched them lose to Celtic umpteen times. I've actually never been to 'Paradise' though. Put it this way It's very Brendan to include that line in his opening statement.
Anyhoo, I'm wasting my life discussing Brendan Rodgers online.

I've not heard it called paradise for a long time. Perhaps since I lived in Scotland. Is it Celtic park or parkhead? I always use the latter.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Season ticket holder at hearts. Unlucky
Funnily enough we were talking about the Celtic park, Parkhead thing on Wednesday. After my Celtic season ticket supporter referred to the Upton Park, Boleyn Ground scenario. Who knows, it's always been Parkhead to me?
Brendan (typically) is the first person I've EVER directly heard refer to it as paradise. It's pretty cringeworthy, same as Theatre of Dreams is.
It's been a few years since I took a season ticket but, yes, it's tough going most of the time.
Some real Ass kissing going on: Dermot Desmond described Rodgers as "a great manager"
"Brendan is a highly-sought after manager and we are pleased we have been able to bring such a high calibre individual to Celtic," said chief executive Peter Lawwell.
"We wanted to bring one of the biggest and best names to the club to match our own aspirations .
"We have appointed a special manager
I don't get the vitriol for him. Yes it became **** under him, yes he talks a lot of ****e, he's easy to take the piss out of and he's not a patch on Jurgen, but he got us to within two points of the title. Better IMO to remember those good times - those amazing times - that season and wish him well.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
