Being open to changing your mind is the only way to be. Football moves and changes quickly - it is the people who are entrenched in their opinions that cause debates to go downhill. You have to judge an ever-changing scenario on its merits, so there's absolutely **** all wrong with changing your mind.

I was somewhere in the middle before....but now I think he should go. What's wrong with that?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Nothing, I was exactly the same until the Aston Villa semi. It just unravelled so quickly, a change of mind is completely understandable and to be expected. The polemics are getting ridiculous, and this is splitting the fanbase as much as the back end of Rafa.

So much has happened since Brendan won his credit last season - its all used up with poor recruitment, bizarre tactical decisions and a complete lack of fight and motivation. Its been a disaster - and no 6th place is no consolation and really shouldn't be one either. We've in effect been relegated from the top table - again. Instead of building, we've regressed.

Football is about taking opportunities, and you have to be able to change in order to do that.

Klopp imo is just such an opportunity, and quite coincidentally it comes when the club are in need of change.

        Horse. Gift. Mouth.

Yep, they are a bunch of wasters, young and inconsistent or old and **** like Skrtel (still laughing at his running away from Nzonzi yesterday, did exactly the same at Stoke last season when Adam scored, ****house), past their best like Gerrard and Johnson or just never any good regardless of age. But the manager/committee should have spent the money better so it all comes back to the same person.

Or just not play 7 central midfielders and 3 defenders

Where else is he going to go? He doesn't have that many options. I feel sure he'd see us as a good fit for him. He'd ****ing love it.
I'd be over the moon if it was true mate. Think i'm just on a downer about anything LFC at the moment. It just feels though we are slipping away

To put manager-go-round matters into context there is a story this morning at Ancelotti could end up with West Ham (it'll be Bilic of course).

FSG and the TC are actually the primary issue here (I'd hold Rodgers responsible for about 30% of this seasons failure), if they keep to a policy of only buying younger potential and use a fog bound committee to carry out same (and being a committee every one and yet no-one is to blame) then it may not really matter who is in charge.

The other issue is never ditch a manager (short of it being a real crisis) unless you can get a demonstrably superior manager.

hang on! we nearly won the league last year! Yes , luis suarez was a big part of that but the fact is twice he got the best out of Suarez, plus we played amazing football.

the biggest critcism I can aim at Rodgers is his signings of Borini; and Lambert. i cant blame him for taking a punt on Balotelli.

Lambert has been exposed as a championship striker ala Charlie Austin, and I hate to say it, Danny Ings. They have enough nous to beat average defenders but not top class ones.

I would not sell balotelli this summer but give him a chance up to December. He has more about him, if he can mature.

No one has mentioned our famous psychologist this year.

I am old enough to remember the early days of Fergie. It wasnt so great. Arguably Rodgers job is more difficult now because of the monetary imbalance that exists between Chelsea, Man U, Man City and even Arsenal.

I think Rodgers deserves a little more respect than this sort of comment.

I think that he is a truely honourable man.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

There's no way our players are as bad as they have shown this season. A manager's job is to get the best out of the players, if he is not doing that or can't do that for whatever reason... well then he is failing to do his job properly. That's the crux of it.

We've seen that he doesn't know how to setup a defence, doesn't know what players to buy for whatever the hell system we want to play, he doesn't know what his best team is, insists on playing players in positions that are unfamiliar to them. Really wanted Rodgers to succeed here but he has made so many mistakes over and over and for whatever reason, the players are not playing for him & the teams looks completely unbalanced and fragile. Personally, I wouldn't be confident in our chances of progression if he was managing us next season. If there is someone out there that is a better calibre manager than Rodgers, get him in and do it quickly so we can start to build early for next season.

not much point checking the news until next week when Klopp is done with his cup final. After that we'll know. Pretty sure if he came he'd probably backhand the person responsible for buying Balotelli and then raise his hand again if they said Ings' name.

What has bugged me the most and you do have to wonder why anyone would do it - playing Can as a right back, he has the turning circle of a bus, which is fine in central midfield when you have time and space but useless when quick nippy reactions is a primary skill of the role. Can knows he isn't a Right back, Rodgers knows he isn't, the whole world knows it and yet.....Manquillo must be either the worlds worst or being kept out for contractual reasons.

The other thing is playing without a striker - if the manager is making a point he can do that on the phone not on the pitch (and yes I know other do this sort of thing).

He ain't helped his own cause at all with these issues.

Ok...same lad who has def links with someone very closely associated with the history of our club (and who said last week that BR would be gone) is saying it is happening and might even be confirmed today

As per last week, I have no track record on any inside info and no way of finding out anymore than this ... Just passing on what's been passed on
Posted by some Chewie at YNWA, really hope it's true.

Of course it's true (not the confirmed today bit necessarily). He won't be our manager much longer.
