I think our failure this season is still being understated. Watching the Europa League last night and we should have been there instead of Dnipro. Would have also been a backdoor to the CL. Instead we get knocked out by a second rate Turkish side It's ****ing shocking really.

The Stoke game was the first time the manager apologised for a performance but he should have apologised after the Stoke game, Villa game, Man home game and pretty much every CL game. The apologies and the acknowledgements should have come much earlier in the season and not the last game.

Do I still want him gone? In a perverse way, I'd like to see if he can turn it around next season. It's probably more interesting than getting in a new manager, bar Klopp, I would say.

The owners have to pull some ****ing rabbits out of the transfer market hat ... nothing short of 2 marquee signing will do ... anything else and there will be pitch forks out from the get go

Spending £100m and finishing 6th is unacceptable no matter who it is. Even worse when we have nothing to show for that money on the field. Like I have said before, it's about accountability and someone has to be held accountable for near criminal waste of money. Get over your BR love in and smell the salt, it's about the future of Liverpool FC and under a proven coach like Klopp we stand a better chance of moving back in the right direction.

He hasnt been able to organise a cohesive defensive unit in 3 years, he consistantly switches tactics and formations because his ideal philosophy / system is inherently flawed. It could be argued that even his attacking football was heavily reliant on Suarez.

Yes hes had some successes but hes also had massive failings and its not solely down to players hes earmarked

You know with regards to Brendan I would have had much more faith in the man if we had played good football this season and been beaten. Hell if we had even created more chances and not finished them off I'd have thought twice about calling for his head

The fact is that the football this season has been laborious to watch, we are ponderous in possession and although we have tons of possession its not in any areas that matter and we rarely hurt teams with that possession. We dont compete in midfield whatsoever

We dont create enough chances to even service a striker even if Brendan had actually decided to play one

Our problems are far bigger than just needing a striker, the midfield needs an overhaul to prevent the systemic bullying we get week in week out

And the back four is no better off than 3 years ago when Brendan took over

For all his good work last season we are essentially back where we started under Brendan

With or without Brendan we are starting a rebuild and a new 3 year plan
