but you spend 100m, and by the looks of things we still need to spend another 100m just to try and shore up this team of pub footballers.

It's not just the transfer fees though (which would be bad enough) but the fact that the likes of Balotelli and Lovren are probably draining the best part of £10m a year out of the club without offering anything, then that is what the owners will look at. It is stats and figures like that that will make the owners think that they can't give another penny to BR and the committee.

If we take those 2 players as examples, there is no way that a buying club would just take those 2 on. Best we can hope for is probably a loan move with LFC subsidising their wages.

It is a big pity too - because Brendan did a brilliant job of reducing down the wage bill and bringing through some young players.........getting rid of the crap we purchased under the Kenny / Commoli regime gave Brendan a gold star......what is depressing is that a new manager might have to do the same task......
