          #KloppForTheKop is trending.

First time since 2004 that majority of fans will be happy with a managerial appointment?

Its not a rumour. Why do you think they're getting a divorce? I'm not judging him for it, people can what they want in their personal life, but people can't use it as an excuse for this season. Nobody forced him to shag someone else's mrs.

It was unsubstantiated (the detail, not the actual divorce) and quite personal. It doesn't add anything to a football debate.

You're right, its completely irrelevant to what's gone on this season.

We have strikers who don't score, defenders who can't defend and probably the weakest midfield I can ever remember us having. There is such a lack of quality and yet we've spent plenty of money. Rodgers will be sacked I'm sure of it, but really the owners are to blame. We're much more stable than we were under Hicks and Gillett, but their decision making has been really poor. They seem like sensible people, but they have allowed this mess to develop. Rebuilding the club is clearly a much more difficult task than the owners anticipated, I'm not sure that they have the money and the nous to take us forward - certainly now that FFP is being relaxed. I'd like to think that FSG would make enquiries about selling us to a wealthier more ambitious owner.
If you believe that when do you think FSG should have sacked Rodgers? Before the season started?

No, why would they have done that? We had a terrific season last year, I don't think anyone expected this season to be so bad. I still thought we'd be challenging for the top four. If Rodgers had organised the defence then we might have had a chance. Now is the right time to move forwards. Good luck to Rodgers for the future and thanks for last season, but time to move on.

Im still wary of getting rid if we don't have a Klopp/Ancelotti lined up.

We simply have to go all out for Klopp, anything else and I won't be confident too much will change to be honest we don't have a great squad.

I don't agree, I think we have a decent squad and if someone came in and gave everyone a clear role and balanced it out a bit I think we would instantly improve.

You were complaining that FSG had "allowed this mess to develop", so I was just wondering when you thought they (FSG) should have stepped in.

They have allowed this mess to develop, they probably should have sacked Rodgers half way through the season. We started to get results in the second half which papered over the cracks. It was pretty obvious early on this season that the defence was a shambles and we had no goal scoring strikers. We need another clearout, we shouldn't be in this position three years into the project. Rodgers' second season fooled us into thinking he was a special manager, with hindsight he wasn't.
