It's not just the structure of the club that has cost us. It's his god awful tactics playing players out of position. The LFC manager shouldn't be learning on the job ffs.

You just knew FSG wouldn't sack him
He's their 'Yes man'.
Expect more ****e signings and another 6-8 placing in the PL next season, an abject showing in Europe and no Silverware.
FSG are slowly lowering expectations until we become Villa. He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!

Sky Sports News are not a reliable source so I wouldn't take what they say as gospel. Rodgers has lost the players, he's lost the fans and he's lost FSG money. They are no mugs and I'll be amazed if they give Rodgers a free ride, I still think he'll go.Kurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

It is our understanding that the Liverpool owners have no intention of sacking manager Brendan Rodgers.
Club sources have told us that while there will be a robust and thorough review, but changing manager is not on the agenda. This review is expected to be in June.
We understand Liverpool have not spoken to, sounded out, or considered any replacement manager.

I just want him gone. It's quite irrational but I've just totally gone off him, I find him irritating to listen to and his arrogance now feels like a character flaw. Just gets on my tits now basically.Last edited by Kenneth; 25-05-15, 05:44 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

There have been rumblings about the TC - as things stand its neither lampshade or chair, no use to anyone. They need to put in a proper DoF who shapes the squad and does the deals.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostDouble whammy! If Rodgers isn't going then it suggests that there will be changes to the current structure. 6th just isn't acceptable and the board simply can't 'do nothing'
Milner would be a great freebie as would Alves, Kono and Garbutt. Nothing wrong with "cheap" it needs to be right thats' all. Then you've got decent money left for players like Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Geffrey Kondogbia, Eduardo Salvio and so on.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostJust wait till we are parading James Milner and Danny Ings!

Liverpool to review season but not considering sacking Brendan Rodgers
Last Updated: 25/05/15 5:24pm
Liverpool are not considering replacing under-fire manager Brendan Rodgers this summer, according to Sky sources.
The Reds, who finished second in the 2013/2014 season, ended a disappointing season with a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Stoke on Saturday - prompting speculation Rodgers would be shown the door by the Liverpool owners.
In the wake of that game, which saw Steven Gerrard bow out with a consolation goal, Rodgers said: "I've always said that if the owners want me to go, then I go. It's as simple as that.
"But I still feel I've got a lot to offer the club. A lot has happened this year which has made the job difficult, but I totally understand that.
"We finish in sixth position, which is where we deserve to finish. It’s a big, big summer ahead. We lose Steven after today and you’ve seen again his inspiration in the team to get a goal. We’ve got a hell of a lot of work to do.
“I think it’s clear, you look at our goals over the course of the season and [the lack of goals] has been the major contributing factor.
“I’ve had to look at different ideas and different ways to make the team create and score more.
“We’ve taken our beating today. Stoke were better than us, especially in that first half. Second half we were much better and much more authoritative in the game, but still we can’t take much away from losing 6-1.”
But despite the heavy loss at the Britannia Stadium condemning the Reds to a sixth-place Premier League finish, soruces at the club have suggested a season review will stop short of looking for a new manager.
