This still gets mentioned. Was the portrait not a gift from a charity (or disabled group) he helped?

It's not like he had an inscription under it and mentioned on camera that it was from a charity (which I'm still struggling to believe) .Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostCringeworthy or a gesture to show his appreciation. Either or.
If that's not bad enough the tummy tuck and new teeth plus the binning off of his wife for a stunning 29ur old does tend to scream up his own arsenessps3 fanclub member#1

I just don't believe thats something they would consider. Get to ****. The guy is a con man...don't believe a word he says.
On the topic of being Liverpool, how great would it have been if we had Klopp in charge? Probably would have got made into a long running series.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Rodgers got lucky coming into the LFC job, he completely changed his image & reeled off prepared words in interviews to sound smarter than he is. LFC employed him, not his fault he wasn't up to the job. He tried his best but it wasn't good enough. He likes the sound of his own voice but he seems like a decent guy that's trying to better his own career... nothing wrong with that.
Good luck to him at Celtic, i'm sure he'll do well there.

It is hard to imagine things getting worse for him than they are right now - I'd say he has already used up one of his lives.Originally posted by danperkins View PostRodgers got lucky coming into the LFC job, he completely changed his image & reeled off prepared words in interviews to sound smarter than he is. If he doesn't win the OF battles then his goose will be cooked. But he should be a good enough manager to prosper and bag the annual title for Celtic in Scotland.Modifying post.

Sorry Dan, there is no way he's going to do well there. Putting his other faults to one side, he can't setup a defence. Without that, they're doomed. Our defending was genuinely one of the worst in the league while he was here and the only reason we didn't get relegated was because of the calibre of players we had as individuals to bail us out.Originally posted by danperkins View PostRodgers got lucky coming into the LFC job, he completely changed his image & reeled off prepared words in interviews to sound smarter than he is. Our defence wasn’t that bad. It was also Rodgers that moved Suarez from out wide to the centre and built the team around him, got the best out of Sterling, ignored public opinion and got a great season out of Gerrard in DM and even dropped Coutinho to CM and got some memorable performances.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostSorry Dan, there is no way he's going to do well there. He had his faults, but he isn’t this terrible manager that fluked across a world class team that he tried his best to f*ck up, as some portray. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Errrr sorry but yes it was. We just looked like conceding in every game. What sort of foundation is that to go into every game with?Originally posted by RedReet View PostOur defence wasn’t that bad. Did he not in his second season when Downing was playing out right (or LB) at times? Even still, playing him second fiddle to Carroll was a crime in itself.Originally posted by Rich View PostSuarez out wide?! Kenny didn't do that.
That wasn't my point anyway, Rodgers was getting slaughtered for saying he was going to make Suarez the focal point of the attack because 'that didn't suit Suarez' and every fool knew his best position was wide left 'like he played for Ajax and Uruguay'. It was a brave decision to make that tpe of player your lone striker, then to accommodate Sturridge too when he was signed and make him even better was good management. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
