I reckon they have every desire to keep unless an irresistible opportunity comes along (i.e, we're both talking ****ing bollocks and playing the averages so we can't possibly be wrong).Originally posted by cream View PostFSG will sound out replacements, if they get their man, they will give Brendan the bullit. If their preferred choices turn us down, they'll keep Brendan and claim all along that they had no intention of getting rid.

Jurgen Klopp admits he would manage Liverpool as heat is turned up on Brendan Rodgers
12:30, 28 MAY 2015
BY DAVID ANDERSON
The Borussia Dortmund boss will depart the club next month and is willing to scrap his plans for a summer sabbatical in order to take charge at Anfield
Jurgen Klopp has turned up the heat on Brendan Rodgers by telling friends he would be interested in managing Liverpool.
Klopp will bring the curtain down on his glittering reign at Borussia Dortmund after Saturday's German Cup Final and he is already looking for his next job.
He does not want to take a sabbatical and is attracted by Liverpool, according to reports in Germany.
Rodgers' fate as Liverpool boss will be decided when he has his post-season review with FSG's Mike Gordon next month and the Irishman presided over a hugely-disappointing campaign.
The shadow of Klopp will loom large over that review and the German exactly fits the template of coach FSG like in that he can over deliver on limited resources.
Dortmund are similar to Liverpool in that they are not their country's biggest clubs and they have passionate fans.
Klopp respects Liverpool and is intrigued by the possibility of working in the Premier League.
He speaks fluent English and at 47, is also the right age for FSG.
Former Germany and Chelsea star Michael Ballack claims Klopp would be perfectly suited to the Premier League.
"There are several indications that suggest he will coach in England at some stage," he said.
"He coached one of the best clubs in Germany. He's an open coach, who enjoys international acclaim for his successes and the way he coaches. And he speaks English."

That report - that Klopp would be interested in the job - was legit. The fake front page was one that claimed LFC have made contact with Klopp.Originally posted by cream View PostThey've most likely got the story from the fake Bild front page from lastnight. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Daryl Moran @daryljmoran · 5h5 hours ago
@JoshAndrews12 it is but this guy has been pretty bang on about most things what's happened within the club the past couple of months.
Daryl Moran @daryljmoran · 4h4 hours ago
@JoshAndrews12 apparently the review is set for June 2nd.

@daryljmoran interesting stuff! Did he mentor a replacement? [IMG]

@JoshAndrews12 he didn't mate unfortunately just that the club sponsors are not happy that we are not in champs league and had a poor league
Daryl Moran @daryljmoran · 3h3 hours ago
@KopiteMay he won't just leave as he wont get compensation. Mutual termination both parties agree on a compensation package!

I'm not claiming to be an insider here by any stretch of the imagination but... A mate of mines job is to take celebs to the Newcastle match and a while back he met Uri Geller. When they were looking critically ****ed a few weeks back he emailed Uri to ask him if he would intervene to keep Newcastle up. Uri agreed to do what he could and spent Newcastle's last game on a one man mission to salvage their season. He's just emailed my mate back saying "see I told you I could do it" and we're now sitting in Costa trying to work out whether we ask Uri to get Rodgers sacked. Any preference on who we get to replace him though as I'm a bit reluctant to take responsibility for the next appointment if he's **** too.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Having to both put up with celebs and watch Newcastle play games
Or maybe that's just my thinking
