I don't see how anything can be taken as fact just now. If anything people such as Heaton are using the uncertaintly to attract followers on Twitter. There has been nothing substantiated either way from what I can see.

The silence is due to there being nothing of substance to report. If a decision has been made (either way), then the results of it will not be released until after Brendan meets with the board, or if not it will not be made until after the meeting.

Chris Bascombe was on the Anfield HQ podcast yesterday. He said Rodgers had a meeting with Mike Gordon last week and will have another very important meeting. He said Rodgers doesn't think it will cost him his job and lfc have said the same. Bascombe said it depends how you interpret the information and that it's not clear cut that Rodgers will still be in a job at the end of their next meeting or words to that effect.

Yep I said the same thing on another forum. Bascombe didn't come across as being confident Rodgers will still be in a job after his interview with Gordon. The next week or two will be interesting. Will be good to have clarity once and for all.
